Zoo-Wee Mama! Bite Off More Than You Can Chew (On Purpose)
Bite off more than you can chew?
What if that’s the point?
We love to say things like:
“
God won’t give you more than you can handle.”
But what if He does?
Wherever you are in your faith - Christian - Jewish - Muslim - Buddhist - Agnostic - Atheist - I believe this holds true: when you bite off more than you can chew, you are forced to go all-in. You push yourself to your limits. And, you rely on others for help, too.
For my faith worldview, the question is this: what if He allows more than we can handle, not to crush us, but to deepen our dependence?
To pull us closer.
To remind us: you were never meant to do this alone.
Go all-in. No regrets. Lean on God.
Lean on your friends. Ask for help.
Recently, I reframed asking for help—and it changed everything.
When you refuse to ask for help, you're actually robbing someone of joy.
You're blocking them from:
- Living out their purpose
- Putting their core values into action
- Doing something deeply good
